– a weekend workshop combining energy and bodywork approaches

Pain and tension in the neck and shoulders is probably the most common form of discomfort in modern life. Lifestyles that overstimulate the body while over stressing the nervous system are common. The tunnel vision of using computers and mobile devices lead us into postures and habits that only increase this problem

This workshop will take an in-depth look at the causes of these and what can we do about it.

We will be combining energy and bodywork approaches to cover the following topics:

  • Using muscle testing to identify loss of mind-body connection and mobility causing pain
  • The effect of fascial shortening on the neck, shoulder and throat muscles
  • Connection between the posture, gravity and the neck
  • Charting and working with the meridian energy pathways affecting neck er mobility
  • Working with emotional blockages affecting the neck
  • Neck and shoulder mobility practices
